International Space Station

The Test Pilot had his Homeschool Presentation Night.  I am a little biased, but can I just say he was AWESOME!  I am so proud of my boy.

He made a model of the International Space Station with his dad.  Then we wrote a speech about it.  He did so good.  He was not even nervous.  I really don't think it occurred to him to be nervous.

There was a good mix of performances from musical to drama to readings of speeches and novels.  It was really neat to see all these children doing so wonderfully on this kind of stage.

International Space Station

The Test Pilot has been studying astronomy all year in science.  His final project is building a model of the international space station.  He is building it for fun as well as for a presentation in May.

He is hard work assembling the trusses.

The Captain guides him, but the Test Pilot is doing most of the assembly himself.  He likes doing this kind of work.

Here's a picture of the space station.  I will post a picture of the completed project.  I bet it will look pretty similar knowing my child and his dad.
