Of course, we had a football theme. That kid loves balls especially football. We've taught him how to make the touchdown sign and say "Go Bucs!" However, he knows to cheer for University of Texas as well. We are a house divided.
I found this craft idea on google to make football helmets out of milk jugs. (Crash's is on backwards.) They had fun decorating them and wearing them for the rest of the party. The Captain said it's good we did this now because those Little Apple heads will be too big very soon.
Wingman liked the birthday singing but he wasn't quite sure what to do about the candles. I had to show him one time and then we replayed the whole scene and he blew out the candles with a little help from mom.
His brothers got him some new books including a Sandra Boynton book so we look forward to more good book reading times.
He loved eating his cake with his fork, but became frustrated when his hands got dirty. He is the cleanest kid.
He still is average for height and weight, but his head size is off the charts.
He thinks he is 4 and tries to do everything his big brothers do. Surprisingly, he is pretty successful at it too.
He loves to play with any kind of ball: football, basketball, hockey, golf, soccer, etc.
Wingman has an amazing vocabulary for a little guy.
He hates to be left out. If you really want to see a tantrum, just try and exclude him from something including the test pilot's homework. He climbs up to the table with a pencil and paper and goes to work. It's very cute and very frustrating all at the same time.
He runs too fast, falls very hard, and almost always has some sort of cut or bruise on his head.
He is a precious little boy who is full of life.
We thank God for him everyday. Can't imagine life without him! Love you big guy!
