Crazy day

This day has just been weird.  We started out with a call from the vet.  CJ, our very old dog, has not been acting well for 2 days.  The vet said it was arthritis.  The Captain and I beg to differ.  This dog has had arthritis for years and never acts like this.  He is now home and still not acting well.  At least we have doggie drugs to help.

Then we went to the zoo.  Met some friends, enjoyed great weather, and then Crash proceeded to puncture his head with a rock overhang.  I got to meet 3 nice EMT's at the zoo who took care of this profusely bleeding head wound.  He had blood all over his face.  He did not need stitches.  Thankfully he seems to be fine now.  It just looks icky.

Wingman told me he loved me about eleven times at the zoo.  That's his way of saying "I love going to the zoo and thank you for taking me here!"

I know this probably sounds like de ja vu, but we it looks like we really are moving this time.  The Captain received a job offer this week and we will be moving to Kansas.  They are few things to be done (a physical, background check) and then they will set a start date probably around the first of March.  He will go first and the kids and I will be here and there until the house sells or until something else changes.
